for my dog. 

so apparently my parents bought a puppy today.  he’s a 7 month old, black pug, purchased so twinklefeet has a friend when the two older dogs die.  i’m still not clear why that had to happen today.  but nonetheless, there’s a new dog to play with the next time i’m in indiana.

as you can see here, while twinklefeet likes new friends, she really hates sharing.  i’m sure they’ll end up being bff’s though.  she likes dogs that are bigger than her to play with.  at puppy daycare, she was best friends with a great dane puppy, but wouldn’t give the time of day to a dachshund puppy that wanted so desperately to play with her.  and she was a big fan of my aunt and uncle’s springer spaniel when we visited them.  since pippin is already bigger than her at 7 months, he’s probably a good fit.  [he’s named after the hobbit, not the musical.]

looks like he’s a cutie.  though obviously not as cute as twinklefeet.  no duh.
